Nail tape

Create beautiful designs with nail tape

With nail tape, you can easily create sharp lines, geometric patterns and detailed designs on your Gel Polish manicures at home. This simple accessory helps you achieve clean, modern results without needing a steady hand for painting. Whether you want ultra-thin lines or playful shapes, our collection provides a variety of decorative adhesives to elevate your Nail Art.

Using nail art tape is a great way to experiment with different patterns. You can use it as a permanent decoration that you seal under your Top Coat, or as a stencil to paint crisp sections of colour. It is a flexible tool that works well for both simple accents and complex designs.

How to use nail striping tape and stickers

There are different types of decorative accessories available depending on the look you want. From ultra-thin striping tape for nails to pre-shaped stickers, these tools make it easy to customise your manicure.

What is nail striping tape?

This is a very thin, metallic or coloured tape on a roll or in sheets. You use nail striping tape to create precise, straight lines. You can apply it directly onto your cured Gel Polish colour as a shiny stripe, or you can use it to block off areas of the nail, paint over it, and peel it off to reveal a clean line.

How do you apply nail art tape to your nails?

Applying nail art tape requires a bit of patience and a few basic tools like tweezers and scissors. Follow these steps for a clean application:

  • Apply your Gel Polish colour as usual and cure it in your UV or LED lamp.
  • Wipe off the sticky inhibition layer with cleanser so the tape adheres well.
  • Cut a piece of tape slightly longer than your nail.
  • Place the tape on the nail using tweezers and press it down firmly, especially at the edges.
  • Cut the tape just inside the edge of your nail. Leaving a tiny gap of about 1 mm helps prevent lifting.
  • Apply a layer of Top Coat over the entire nail, making sure to seal the edges of the tape, and cure it.

Do you need a UV or LED lamp to use nail art tape?

The tape itself does not need to be cured. However, because you use it in combination with Gel Polish, Base Coat and Top Coat, you will need a UV or LED lamp to cure the gel layers that hold the tape in place. Sealing the tape under a cured Top Coat is the best way to make sure it stays secure for weeks.

Achieve clean lines with French manicure stickers and nail guides

Creating a classic French tip can be challenging to paint by hand. This is where French manicure stickers and nail guides become helpful tools in your nail routine.

How do French manicure stickers and nail guides help you?

These pre-shaped stencils act as physical barriers on your nail. You place the guide on your cured colour layer, paint your French tip over the free edge, and peel the sticker away while the gel is still wet. This leaves you with a sharp, clean smile line. You then cure the painted tip in your lamp and finish with Top Coat to protect the design.

What is the difference between nail striping tape and nail stickers?

While striping tape is designed for straight lines, nail stickers are ready-to-use designs like hearts, stars or flowers. Stickers are fully adhesive shapes that you place on the nail and seal with Top Coat, making them a quick option for adding detail to your manicure.

Protect your skin with nail protector tape

When you are working with messy techniques like stamping or gradients, keeping your cuticles clean is important. This is where nail protector tape comes in.

What is the purpose of a nail protector tape?

A nail protector tape is a pre-cut adhesive barrier that you apply to the skin around your nail before starting your Nail Art. It covers your cuticles so that any excess Gel Polish lands on the tape instead of your skin. Once you finish your design, you simply peel the tape off to reveal clean skin.

How do you seal nail tape so it does not peel?

To prevent your tape or stickers from lifting, always leave a small gap between the edge of the tape and your cuticle. If the tape touches your skin or the very edge of your nail, it will lift when you wash your hands. Always seal the design with a high-quality Top Coat, paying extra attention to capping the free edge of the nail.
