Wrap your nails in cotton wool (or cotton pads) soaked with nail polish remover, then apply our nail clips to seal everything in and create the best conditions for the nail polish remover to work. After 10 minutes, check one nail to see how much the polish has loosened. If it is still stuck in certain areas, leave the wraps on for an extra 5 minutes.
Yes, absolutely. Once you have filed the surface until smooth, apply a layer of Nailster Base Coat, followed by your gel polish color, and finish with a layer of Nailster Top Coat. HOWEVER, if you have glued-on nails, we do not recommend using Nailster, as the removal process requires the gel polish to be dissolved. This cannot be done without the glued-on nail loosening from your natural nail. But what is the difference? Acrylic is a very hard powder product that is built up using liquid – this type of product therefore does not need to cure in a lamp. Gel nails are, as the name suggests, made from a gel formula that must be cured in a UV lamp. Gel polish is a type of reinforced nail polish that also needs to be cured in a UV lamp. Gel polish typically has a glossy finish and is much more durable than regular nail polish.
